The home of this national non-profit is right here in western North Carolina. Artists from across America have joined Preserving A Picturesque America (PAPA) and create art specifically to protect our natural landscape. PAPA seeks out the places depicted in the Picturesque America series from over one hundred and fifty years ago and creates new artwork that reflects their current level of protection.
